The National Graves' Disease Foundation is an organization comprising people with Graves' disease, the families of those affected by Graves' disease, and physicians and other professionals. The organization aims to establish support groups for members in all states; to foster public awareness of and education on the causes, effects, and treatment of Graves' disease; and to participate in research on Graves' disease. An annual national conference for patients and family members features experts in many related fields. All conferences are audiotaped and videotaped and maintained in a tape library.

The Thyroid Foundation of America

The Thyroid Foundation of America (TFA) provides health education and support to thyroid patients, their families, and health professionals who care for them. Most thyroid problems are lifelong and often change over time, so TFA members are kept up to date through quarterly newsletters. TFA refers patients to thyroid specialists and to interest or support groups around the country, promotes public awareness of thyroid problems, and, if funding permits, sponsors special projects and research.
