What can I do on this site?
You can view Monographs, Slide Library, Current and Archived Newsletters,
Symposia Reports, Calendar of Events, Expert Opinions and do Case Studies.
After viewing the Webcasts and Slide Library, you can take a posttest,
and earn CME credits.
Why
should I register to take a posttest?
We
need your information to generate a CME
Certificate for the posttest you take. Hence
you are required to register to take a posttest.
How can I register to
take a posttest?
Just
click on "Take a Posttest" link in
the CME Resources (Slide
Library/Monographs) section of the website. You
will see a page where you need to put in your
information to register. Just fill in all the
information and click "submit" and you
will be registered to take a posttest.
How can I take a posttest?
Click on the link
labeled “Take a Posttest” in the Slide
Library/Monograph section of the website. If you
are not logged in, you will be prompted to do
so. If you are logged in, you will be taken to
the Posttest page, if not, you will be taken to
the registration/login page where you need to login
(if you already have created a login) or
register to create a new login. The posttest form will appear
after this verification. Complete the posttest
form, and click on “Submit.” Your results
will be generated automatically. If you pass the
posttest, you will be asked to complete a quick
evaluation form, and then your ready-to-print
certificate will appear. If you fail the test,
you will be redirected to the main CME Resources
screen so that you may
review the program
again and retake the
test.
How can I get my CME certificate?
You can
receive it by taking a program posttest (see
“How can I take a posttest?”).
How do I print a certificate?
Make sure that a printer is installed on your computer.
Click on the printer icon, or select “Print”
from the pull-down “File” menu and click the
“OK” button in the pop-up window. Keep the
printed certificate for your records.
Which browser is recommended for optimal
viewing of the ThyroidToday website?
The
ThyroidToday
website is best viewed using Internet Explorer 4.0
or higher with 800x600 screen resolution. The
site can also be viewed using America Online or
Netscape.

Explanation: The above message is displayed when a matching e-mail address is found in the database. Two users cannot have the same e-mail address.
Resolution: Please verify the email address entered. If you are already registered with ThyroidToday, please login using your e-mail and password.
What
if I do not have an email address?
If
you do not have a valid email address, you
will not be able to register through
ThyroidToday website to take a posttest and to
get your CME credit.
Why
am I not able to hear the Webcast audio or to
view the Webcast video?
In
order to hear a Webcast audio and view a Webcast
video you need to have Microsoft Internet
Explorer 4.0 or higher and Windows Media Player
6.4 or higher installed on your
computer. Click
here to download the latest version of
Internet Explorer. To download media player,
please click
here.
After I click on the View Webcast link, I can only hear AUDIO, no VIDEO.
This problem occurs when you do not have the latest codecs on your computer. Please download and install
Windows Media Audio and Video
Codecs.
Why
am I not able to view the presentation slides?
To
view the presentation, you should have Microsoft
PowerPoint installed on your computer. You can
buy the software from any Software store or online.
Why
does it take so long to download the slides?
The
download time depends on the speed of your
internet connection. Some slides may be larger
in size, and hence may take longer to download.
A 500 Kb file may take 4 minutes on a 28.8 Kbps, 2 minutes
on 56 Kbps and <1 minute for a T1 connection.
How
can I get a copy of the presentation?
To
view/save the presentation, just click on the
presentation link, and based on your computer
settings, the file may open up in the browser or
prompt you to save/open the file. Also, you can
save a copy by right clicking the link to the
presentation and selecting the "save target
as" option from the menu.
How
do I view the monographs?
To
view the Monographs (that are in PDF Format), you
need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on
